On Wednesday mornings in Pittsburg, The Men’s Devotional Group meets behind the First Methodist Church, across the street from the county jail, at the church fellowship center. They come to pray. An odd bunch - bank executive, truck driver, retired minister, prizefighter, poultry expert, tractor mechanic and more. Some have lived here all their lives and some are newcomers, but they have a common aim.

Jingling spurs, thumping boots, and western yells will soon be heard at the Pittsburg Rodeo Arena as the 61st annual Pittsburg Rodeo and 30th Handicappable Rodeo hit the ground on May 4 - 6.
