Time is running out to sign up for Kids Discovery College 2023! Registration ends June 23 and classes are filling up quickly. You do not want to miss this fun, educational summer opportunity for kids ages 8-16. Staging area at Broach Park

“The State of Texas has mobilized state resources to assist local governments while they are recovering from the recent storms which have affected electrical power and impacted critical infrastructure facilities and roadways. Several of these resources are being assembled in a state-sponsored staging area located at Broach Park in Pittsburg. County Judge A. J. Mason, Mayor David Abernathy, Emergency Management Coordinators Doyce Winchester and Richard Penn have been heavily involved with supporting this effort while they are in Pittsburg. These resources include the Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas Military Department (National Guard), public works specialists, emergency medical teams, and firefighting teams.
