Information needed on local burglary

The Camp County Sheriff ’s Office is seeking information on a burglary that occurred Wednesday, May 12. A home on County Road 1264 was broken into between noon and 12:45 p.m.

Taken in the burglary were an AR-15, pink in color; a 9 mm pistol, black in color; and a large quantity of ammunition. A jewelry box containing assorted jewelry was also stolen.

“Anyone who might have seen anything they considered unusual around that timeframe is asked to give us a call at 903-856-6651,” Sheriff John Cortelyou said. “Any information would be appreciated.”
