Stone Fruit Survey

The Texas A&M Diagnostic Lab/Plant Pathology Department is looking for peach, plum, nectarine, and cherry growers to assist them with a stone fruit survey. Approval will be needed, but no additional duties are expected of the grower, and the specialist will accommodate the grower’s needs regarding the timing for the survey.

Tri-Counties Pond Program

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will be presenting a program on ponds including such topics as aquatic wildlife damage management using IPM (1 CEU), wildlife/game laws, pond basics—weed ID and control options and best fish options (1 CEU). This program will be held June 2 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Veranda in Mount Vernon. Register by calling 903-572-5201. $20 fee payable upon entry.

Small Ruminant Workshop

The Camp County AgriLife Extension will be hosting a Small Ruminant Workshop on June 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Aubrey Pilgrim Building. $15 registration payable at the door. Please RSVP by emailing Kaycee. davis@ag.tamu.edu.
