April N. Smith to perform in Pittsburg

The Pittsburg Camp County Arts Council will welcome singer/songwriter April N. Smith to the Pittsburg High School Auditorium on March 27 at 7 p.m.

Smith, a Daingerfield native, is considered a rising country music artist whose voice has been compared to Martina McBride and Patsy Cline. Her highly anticipated debut album, “Enough,” was recently released on digital platforms. Smith opens her heart and bares her soul on the album with songs about heartache, reflection, recovery, and resilience. Her latest single, “One Two Step Away,” has risen to number 18 on Texas Internet Radio and to number 42 on the Texas Country Music Chart.
