TxDOT adding pavement markers to FM 1519

TxDot sent an announcement dated February 12, 2026, that they are “adding the thermoplastic markings to over 299 miles of area roadways that were resurfaced last summer” according to Christina Trowler, Director of TxDOT Atlanta District Transportation Operations. In Camp County pavement markers will be placed from State Highway 11, southeast to FM 556. She added “If the roadway does not currently have rumble strips, we will be placing rumble strips as an added feature to reduce roadway departure crashes.”
