PISD receives generous donation

The Methodist Men’s Breakfast Group donated $2,000 per campus to support PISD students at their weekly prayer breakfast last week. Pittsburg Primary, Elementary, Intermediate, and Junior High Campuses each received a donation to help students and families in need during the holidays. The principals from the four campuses, Jyl Wood, Heather Griffin, Todd Newman, and Jennifer Styles, as well as Superintendent Terry Waldrep were guests at the breakfast to accept the donations.

NTCC police department’s first months of improving college safety

The recently formed police department for Northeast Texas Community College is now stepping into its third month and working on expanding the force, as well as improving the safety for all students and staff on campus.

Commissioners approve to establish ADR System

The Camp County Commissioners held their regularly scheduled meeting and heard from J. D. McMullen, who presented the importance of establishing an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) System. McMullen listed the two main topics involved with an ADR system; civil filing fees and mediation.
