Live event on June 5 at Barefoot Bay to spread hope and help charity

Music performances, live auction, and more for a good cause

On Saturday, June 5, enjoy an epic musical event for a cause with COVID-19 precautions in place at Barefoot Bay RV Resort & Marina (5244 Pistol Mill Road, Pittsburg). Suitable for all ages, the event will feature live music, Wannabe Rockstar Karaoke, a live auction, raffles, and more to benefit the nonprofit Help Hope Live.

Enjoy live music from Moon Patrol and sing along with “Yesterday,” a musical anthology with chart-topping hits from the recording industry’s biggest artists, including the Beatles, the Eagles, Eric Clapton, and more.

Your attendance will support a worthy cause: the national medical fundraising nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of local kidney transplant recipient James Michael McLester.

COVID-19: Masks are required except while eating and drinking. The venue will make hand sanitizing stations available. No one may approach the staging area to maintain physical distancing.

McLester is grateful to his life-saving living kidney donor and proud to “raise awareness through education and my autobiography to impart hope, especially in these challenging times, to all kidney patients like me and anyone in need of an organ transplant.” The ROCK4JAMES 6 event will include stations with volunteers where attendees can learn all about the gift of life and the pathway to becoming a living donor or registered organ donor.

By supporting the nonprofit Help Hope Live, the event will help to defray some of James’s critical post-transplant medical costs. Can’t attend? You can make a donation in honor of James McLester online at any time at: https://helphopelive.org/campaign/4543/.

Purchase tickets at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ rock4james-6-2021-series-for-help-hope-live-tickets-151364895477

Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, and all funds raised will offset medical expenses via Help Hope Live’s South-Central Transplant Fund. Help Hope Live verifies all campaigns and medical costs.

Help Hope Live is a national nonprofit that specializes in engaging communities in fundraising campaigns for people who need a transplant or are affected by a catastrophic injury or illness. Since 1983, campaigns organized by Help Hope Live have raised over $141 million to pay patient expenses.
