Cypress Basin Hospice celebrates 35 years of serving Northeast Texas

On Saturday, June 5th, Cypress Basin Hospice kicked off their 35-year celebration by raising over $16,000 for charity care through a fundraising dinner at Nardello’s presented by Mayben Realty.

Founded in June of 1986 by a group of community volunteers who saw the need for quality, end of life care for their neighbors, Cypress Basin Hospice has provided comfort, care, and compassion to the citizens of Northeast Texas since 1986 and remains the only non for profit, community board ran hospice in Northeast Texas. Staying true to the original mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors”, Cypress Basin Hospice provides hospice care to all hospice appropriate patients in their 16-county service area, regardless of their ability to pay. No patient will be denied service thanks to the promise of our community and the generosity of our community event sponsors and private donors. Proceeds from all community events provide medications, medical equipment, and medical supplies for charity patients on service. The average cost of a charity patient on service is $126 per day.

Cypress Basin Hospice is not able to celebrate this monumental milestone without the continued support of our amazing communities and would like to give you all a heartfelt THANK YOU as we look forward to serving you all for another 35 years!
