On Nov. 20, Margaret Byfield of American Stewards presented some pertinent information concerning what is known as the 30 x 30 plan. This plan is a program that calls for the permanent protection of 30 percent of America’s lands and oceans by 2030. Internationally, it has been supported by the United Nations, and nationally it has been encouraged by President Biden’s Administration in several ways including the “America the Beautiful” report published May 6, 2021.
