The 20th Century Study Club of Pittsburg, Texas celebrates its jubilee anniversary this year. Recently, officers for the 2022-2023 year were installed during a meeting at the home of Linda Grundish. Each officer was presented with a “tool” to assist them during their term.
The Pittsburg Rodeo Association celebrated its 60th anniversary on April 28-30. There was bronc busting, roping and tying, mutton bustin’ for the young cowboys and cowgirls, rescue racing, and bull riding.
Pittsburg turned out in style on April 30 to celebrate was has become an annual tradition: The Pittsburg Hot Links Festival. Ice cream, various cultural dishes, art, games, family fun, and of course hot links, were the business of the day.
The old saying, “You get what you put into it” isn’t more true anywhere than in livestock production. The type and quality of feed is going to affect the quality of the finished product.
Eddie Lee Starling was arrested on April 26 by CCSO on a warrant for burglary of a habitation.
