City Council plans ahead
The Pittsburg City Council has been approached with the opportunity to purchase a piece of property adjacent to the wastewater treatment plant. When considering planning long term for the city, City Manager Clint Hardeman states, “There could be a need for expansion of our wastewater treatment plant to help the city grow as it relates to industrial and commercial development.” The city council approved to go through the process required to purchase the property.
Rotarians hear from Texas Humane Legislation Network
The Pittsburg Rotary Club heard from Shelby Bobosky, a representative from the Texas Humane Legislation Network, at a recent meeting. Bobosky serves as the organization’s executive director and she shares that she was previously a trial attorney before getting involved with THLN where she works as one of three staff members.
