Commissioners Court approve broadband study
The Commissioners Court approved the broadband study presented by David Cleveland, Executive Director of East Texas Council of Governments (ETCOG) during their regular meeting on November 30. The purpose of this study is to work towards developing regional broadband for unserved and underserved rural areas within the fourteen counties of East Texas including Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Smith, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood. This plan would connect all 14 counties in a fiber network.
