Camp County Judge AJ Mason signed a Resolution honoring the senior citizens of Camp County and announcing the Resources program, Aging Abound, that will be held at the Douglass Community Center on May 16.

Voters refuse school bond in Camp County
Pittsburg ISD Proposition A, proposing a school bond for $88 million, did not pass the voters on May 6. Votes were 1,030 (53.9 percent) against compared to 881 (46.1 percent) for the bond. This gap widened ever so slightly from the 2022 general election in which the bond failed by 53 percent against to 47 percent for.

The Pittsburg Library’s Reading Challenge starts June 1, 2023-July 14, 2023. We have reading challenges for all age groups!
