Flashy ride to a cool treat for some hot kids

Lights flashed and sirens screamed for ten students from the Primary Campus on May 16 when they rode from the Cafetorium to La La Pops in a fire truck. As a reward for perfect attendance throughout the school year, these children--Brooklyn Anderson, Charleigh Brittain, Braylen Dube, Kyler Herring, Nita Long, Everado Martinez, Aevyn Mostyn, Daniel Perez, Lucia Rodriguez-Villeda, and Mallory Valdelamar--were given a special treat that Assistant Principal of the Elementary Campus Chad Applegate hopes can become an annual tradition.
