Gov. Abbott orders temporary closing of schools, gyms, bars

Governor Greg Abbott today ordered the temporary closing of schools, bars and gyms. Restaurants can only offer to-go services. The order goes into effect at midnight Friday and will last until April 3.

There is no shelter-in-place order; Texans can still go into public, like to parks, to work and to the grocery store.
