Week of June 27
Bob Sandlin - Water stained; 84–88 degrees; 0.32’ low. Black bass are good on Texas rigged creature baits, hollow body frogs and white buzzbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs on docks. White bass are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.
Caddo – Water stained to muddy; 87–91 degrees; 0.20’ high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged creature baits, hollow body frogs and buzzbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
Conroe – Water stained; 84–88 degrees; 0.10’ low. Black bass are good on chartreuse Rat–L–Traps and Carolina rigged soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are fair on silver striper jigs and Rat–L–Traps. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are fair on cut bait and frozen shrimp.
Fork - Water lightly stained; 85–89 degrees; 1.24’ low. Black bass are fair on topwater walking baits early, football jigs and Carolina rigged Flukes are working later in the day as well. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.
Houston County - Water stained; 85–89 degrees; 0.37’ low. Black bass to 8 pounds are good on crawfish crankbaits. Crappie are very good on live minnows over brush. Bream are very good on live worms off piers. Catfish are good on juglines baited with live perch.
Lake O’ The Pines - Water stained; 84–89 degrees: 0.53’ high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged creature baits, hollow body frogs and white buzzbaits. White bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
Livingston - Water stained; 84–88 degrees; 0.08’ high. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on white striper jigs. White bass are good on pet spoons, hellbenders, and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are fair on live bait.
Martin Creek - Water stained; 88–97 degrees; 1.22’ low. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits, Texas rigged craws and hollow body frogs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
Monticello - Water stained; 84–88 degrees; 2.93’ low. Black bass are slow on weightless Flukes, drop shot worms and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
Sam Rayburn - Water stained; 85–89 degrees; 1.85’ low. Black bass are slow. White bass are good on silver spoons and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles and baited holes. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers. Catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.
Toledo Bend - Water stained; 83–87 degrees; 2.55’ low. Black bass are good on soft plastic worms and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on bucktail jigs. White bass are good on Li’l Fishies and slabs in the river. Crappie are good on minnows and tube jigs over baited holes. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait. Yellow catfish are slow.
Wright Patman - Water stained to muddy; 85–89 degrees; 6.67’ high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged creature baits, buzzfrogs and hollow body frogs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.
