Daingerfield State Park announces July programs

DAINGERFIELD, Texas -- Daingerfield State Park will host several programs in July focused on family fun and learning about the natural world through July 28.

The park will conduct a ranger-led hike around Little Pine Lake, which winds through the Cathedral of the Trees.

Also, during July, visitors will have a chance to take a paddle boarding class with a ranger, exploring the lake and have fun making nature art scheduled for kids at heart.

Each Saturday the park will host a dance with classics from its vintage jukebox from 8-10 p.m. at the historic Pavilion.

The state park offers swimming, hiking and picnic areas and pier fishing as well rentals of kayaks, canoes, paddle board and motorized fishing boats.
