Daniel Wayne Pearson

Daniel Wayne Pearson, 76, passed away on May 25, 2026. He was born March 11, 1950, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Lewis and Dorothy Pearson.

Dan proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1975 and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Dan married Cheryle Cheek in 1973, and was blessed with three sons. In 1988, he married the love of his life, Anita Lester, and together they united their families as one.

Dan loved God, family, and country. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle achieving 200k Hog Miles and traveling the country with Anita, sharing many adventures together throughout the years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Pearson of Palmview, TX; sister, Nancy Higuera and husband Sam; sister-in-law, Sandy Pearson; sons, Daniel Pearson Jr. and wife Stephanie, Dustin Pearson and wife Leah, Christopher Smith and wife Lynn; daughter, Angela Pearson; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Dorothy Pearson; sons, David Pearson, Sr. and Charles Smith; brothers, Cecil Pearson, Jerry Pearson and wife Mary.

Memorial will be held June, 13 at 1:30pm. New Mine Church in Pittsburg, TX.
