Lance Davis Bass

Lance Davis Bass, of Pittsburg, Texas, was born on September 3, 1983, in Tyler, Texas, and passed away at his home on July 8, 2025.

Lance was a high school graduate of Christian Heritage Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and later earned a college degree from Hyles-Anderson Bible College in Crown Point, Indiana. Additionally, Lance earned a certificate from the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at NTCC. He worked at Priefert Manufacturing and was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church.

Lance is survived by his wife, Brandi (St. Clair) Bass, whom he married on October 28, 2023; parents, Shawn and Melanie Bass of Pittsburg and Keith and Kellie Davis of Mount Pleasant; siblings, Chase Bass, Ashley Bass, Lindsey McMurrey, and Lane Davis; and his grandmothers, June Yates, Rosemary Bass, and Betty Davis.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles R. Bass, Joe Davis, and Thomas Lee Yates.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at South Jefferson Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Oglesby officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the services at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Sigal, Chase Bass, Lane Davis, Clint Yates, Rickie Rape, and Ty Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Riggle and Steven Rape.

Lance will be remembered for his love for family and his kind nature.
