Bynum

Carolyn Sue Bynum, 72, of Pittsburg passed away July 23, 2018 in Frisco. She was born Sept. 5, 1945 to Sylvan Clifton Smith Sr. and Beulah Anne Henson Smith in Terrell.

Mrs. Bynum was a member of the Church of Christ, while her children were small she was a homemaker and then she was the office manager for James Cavender of Cavender’s Boot City.

Mrs. Bynum is survived by her son, Scott Bynum and Victor Medina of Frisco; daughter, Jennifer Bynum Greenlee and Chuck Greenlee of Frisco; grandchildren, Annie, Sophie and Jack Brooks; brother, Clifton Smith Jr of Kemp; and a sister, Anna Bolton of Lewisburg, Tenn.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bynum; her parents; brothers, TB Mills, Dillard Smith, William Smith; and sisters, Mildred Smith, Eva Smith Harris, Velma Smith McDougald and Sammi Smith Maxwell.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with internment at Ebenezer Cemetery in Pittsburg. The family will receive friends between 9 a.m. and service time on Monday at the funeral home. Kyle Bolton will officiate the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Shaun Maxwell, Larry Harris, Gary Harris, Terry Harris, Dicky Smith, and David Smith.
