Commissioners OK lake subdivision plat

The Camp Commissioners Court in it’s June 13 meeting approved the final plat for the Paradise Shores Subdivision on Lake Bob Sandlin.

Texas Land and Lakes, based in Quinlan, is building the subdivision. The company’s president, Marcus Smith, presented the project to the court. He said it would create 91 lots on the lake off Camp County Road 2319.

There was no discussion as the commissioners had previously reviewed the agenda item. The Court voted unanimously to accept the plat and the project will move forward.

In other business, the Court tabled consideration of the sale of delinquent property, of which a portion has been condemned by the Texas Department of Transportation, for the continuation of the Loop 255 from the Pilgrim’s plant to FM 1520. The commissioners said they wanted to learn more about other properties along the proposed route that are delinquent and condemned.
