UT Health Pittsburg earns 2024 Leapfrog Top Hospital Award
Highlighting its nationally recognized achievements in patient safety and quality, UT Health Pittsburg was named a Top Rural Hospital by The Leapfrog Group. Announced recently, the Leapfrog Top Hospital award is widely acknowledged as one of the most competitive awards American hospitals can receive. The Top Hospital designation is bestowed by The Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog organization of employers and other purchasers known as the toughest standard-setters for health care safety and quality. Top Hospitals will be honored tonight at the 2024 Leapfrog Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner in Washington, D.C.
Eight graduate from Process Welding Academy
Northeast Texas Community College and Diamond C Trailers celebrated the graduation of the third class of the Process Welding Academy on Monday, Dec. 16th at Diamond C headquarters. Eight students completed the eight-week, 12-credit hour program that teaches the processes and techniques needed to start a career as a production welder. Lady Pirates win Quitman Holiday Tournament
The Pittsburg varsity Lady Pirates went a perfect 4-0 to win the Quitman Holiday Tournament this past weekend and improved to 19-3 on the season.
December NTCC Board of Trustees meeting summary
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular December meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 17th. All seven trustees were present. The first order of business was the Presentation of Independent Audit by the firm of Axley & Rode.
