Graveside Services for Robert Eugene Morris, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Mr. Morris passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant. He was born August 29, 1941 to Robert Eugene Morris, Sr. and Aline Pierce Morris.
During the regular session of the Camp County Commissioners Court, there were several members of the Republican Party sworn in. Curtis Rath, Camp County Republican Chair. Rath states, “The Purpose of the Republican Party Chair is to inform, educate, and energize people to get out to vote. We are going to have a tough election this year, and I look forward to working with all of you on [making sure we get] everyone out to vote, that’s the most important thing.” Also sworn in were the County Precinct Chairs Donna Hallonquist, Cynthia Joy Wilson, and Rex Law.
