There are certain character traits that are a given if you call yourself a Christian. Basic things like honesty, faithfulness, being trustworthy, and of course those ten rules that He laid out for us to live by. There are others that seem to me like they should go along with the rest and be a part of the package.
It is muscadine harvesting time at NTCC Farm! The farm crew has been picking as many as they can and the vines are still loaded! Everyone is welcome to come out to the college farm vineyard and harvest some for their own jelly making or wine making. The farm has 10 different varieties of muscadine - purple or gold! The cost is $5 a gallon to pick and they have a limited number of picked/frozen muscadines for $10 a gallon. According to René McCracken, Ag Director, a regular grocery bag full is enough to make a small batch of jelly. Earl Henry Evans, 95, of Levelland passed from this life on September 7, 2022. A celebration of his life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, September 12, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Jimenez of Cactus Drive Church of Christ officiating.
