Center Ridge Cemetery, though listed on the Texas Historic Sites Atlas, does not have a historical marker. It is located south of Leesburg, off the county roads connecting FM 1519 and FM 2455. One of the earliest markers in the cemetery appears to be that of John Lee Gibbons, born April 10, 183? and died Nov. 5, 19??. He was a private in Company H, 18 TX Cavalry.
