Paul Bryan Young was born July 6, 1976 and went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2020. Paul grew up in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was an energetic boy and always full of mischief. He loved being outside and riding his bicycle, to points unknown but always home for supper! He was a member of and came to know Jesus at First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant. He enjoyed sports playing soccer and baseball as a child and in high school he participated in football and track. In 1994 he moved to Lewisville, Texas and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1995. After graduating from high school Paul worked as an auto mechanic and a spray technician for Linex.

Paul spent the last 5 years of his life battling diabetes and other complications associated with this disease. Due to his health he was unable to work at a fulltime job, but he never quit helping people. Most of his time was spent helping family members or neighborhood friends with automotive problems or yard work. Paul was loved by everyone that knew him and he never met a stranger!

Paul is survived by his dad and mother Ted and Donna Young of Lewisville, Texas, sister Linda Young of Rockville, MD and brother and sister in law Louis and Crystal Young of Canton, OH. He is also survived by his nephew Justice Young and nieces Maddison Young, Annalise Young, Izzabella Young and Megan Young. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Eva Gaddis of Mt. Pleasant Texas and Lee Ida Young of Pittsburg, Texas. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles, William Gaddis of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Tom and Jan Young of Alice Texas, Darryl Young of Pittsburg, Texas, Cindy and Curtis Morgan of Leesburg, Texas plus numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather’s Thomas J. Gaddis of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Thomas Alton Young of Pittsburg, Texas.

Graveside services were held Saturday, August 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodmen of The World Monticello Cemetery with David Rose officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Health Services of North Texas: https://healthservicesntx.org/donation
