TAYLOR-APPLEGATE

Brandy Michelle Taylor-Applegate, age 44, of Cookville, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her home on June 19, 2020. She was born on December 20, 1975 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to Donald Henderson Sr. and Geneva (Gigi) Taylor-Henderson.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home, followed by interment at Coopers Chapel Cemetery. Family received friends on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the funeral home.

She is survived by the joy of her life, her daughter, Kayla Applegate of Mt. Pleasant, TX; mother, Geneva Henderson of Cookville, TX; siblings, Donnie Henderson of Dallas, TX, Karrie Henderson-McGee of Cookville, TX; niece, Jordan Henderson of Denton, TX; nephew, Hunter McGee of Cookville, TX; grandparents, Lula Jo Henderson of Cookville, TX, Jim and Eunice Taylor of Arkansas; pup Dinkum Taylor of Cookville, TX and grandpup Milo Applegate of Mt. Pleasant, TX, all of whom she loved more than anything else in the world...except for her Canadian Hunter, Dr. Pepper, the Chicago Bulls, the Houston Astros and her highschool basketball career.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Henderson Sr.; uncle, Teddy Carl Taylor; and grandmother, Dovie Nell Taylor.
