Pipkins

Services for Jay (J.D) Pipkins, 85, of Leesburg were held July 28th with the Rev. Tom Ream officiating. Mr. Pipkins was born March 1, 1933 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was the father of three children, Joanie Pipkins Robertson, Vickie Pipkins Warren and Bill Pipkins. He was a member of the Assemblies of God (Victory) Church of Pittsburg.

Surviving are his daughter Joanie Pipkins Robertson, Vickie Pipkins Warren and husband Todd, and daughterin-law Barbara Hill Pipkins, three grandchildren Destre Robertson , Zac Sanders and wife Morgan, Brandy Devine Crow, six great-grandchildren Jaeden Pipkins, Trey Robertson, Emily McLeroy and husband Tristan, Hunter Devine, Coleton Crow and Dixie Crow; two great-great-granddaughters Victoria and Maci McLeroy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Leota Pipkins and son, Billy Pipkins.

His hobbies included hunting, raising cattle and horses. He loved spending time with family and friends as well as telling stories of days gone by. The family of Jay Pipkins would like to thank the many people for their support and kind words to their family during their time of grief. He will be greatly missed by many people.
