Mrs. Talma Overstreet

Mrs. Talma Overstreet age 96, of Pittsburg passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 in Mt. Pleasant. She was born September 29, 1923 to Stanley and Lessie Smith Nelson in Camp County.

Mrs. Overstreet worked for Mike Benet in Pittsburg and was a Baptist.

She is survived by her son, Stan Overstreet and wife, Charlotte; daughter, Carolyn Wetzel and husband, Raymond; grandchildren, Virginia Pearson, Gary Dale Wetzel, Kipper Overstreet, Kyle Overstreet and Lindsey Overstreet; sister, Lois Campbell; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Overstreet; her parents; sons, Roy Overstreet and David Overstreet; grandson, Harold Wetzel; brother, Robert Nelson; sister, Carola Harris.

Funeral Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg, with Bro. Kyle Smith and Dr. Rodney Burrow officiating. Interment was in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Upshur County. A visitation was held on Friday, January 16, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
