HALLONQUIST

Patsy Ruth Hallonquist, age 83, of Pittsburg, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home in Pittsburg. She was born April 25, 1937 to William Lenard and Lorena Jane Ashmore McElhaney in Titus County.

She was a retired cafeteria worker and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Laurent Hallonquist and wife Terri of Diana; daughters, Wanda Tucker and husband Bo of Pittsburg, Tina Cheatum and husband Marqualous of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Shannon Merritt and husband Scott, Aaron Tucker and wife Laura, Ashley Richardson and husband Zane, Triston Payne, Tiara Payne, Haley Reitinger and husband Brian, Leslye Jones and husband Brandon, Eric Cheatum, and Lamar Cheatum, ten great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Don McElhaney, James McElhaney, and Olen McElhaney.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Henry (Hambone) Hallonquist; parents William and Lorena McElhaney; her sister Molley McElhaney; and two brothers, Lee McElhaney and Luke McElhaney.
