Barrett

Mr. Bobby Barrett, age 89 of Pittsburg, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Pittsburg. Mr. Barrett was born Jan. 25, 1929 to J.W. “Jimmy” and Pearl Sloan Barrett in Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Barrett was a member of the First Methodist Church and was a retired county commissioner.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Pittsburg; sons, Robert “Reb” Barrett and wife Sara of Pittsburg and Kevin Barrett of Pittsburg; three grandchildren, Sadie Grace Barrett, Ladi Wray Barrett, and Lacy Paige Burns; brothers, Lewis Barrett of Mt. Pleasant, and Jackie Barrett and wife Inga of Mt. Pleasant.

He is preceded in death by wife, Eugenia Wray McMinn Barrett; his parents, J. W. “Jimmy” and Pearl Sloan Barrett; and sister, Saundra Efurd.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Family received friends prior to the service at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg.
