Fitness Court opens at Fair Park

Pittsburg held a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 15 for the new Fitness Court featured at Fair Park. The City of Pittsburg partnered with UT Health Pittsburg and UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and National Fitness Campaign to launch the Fitness Court.

Rotary welcomes 2025 scholarship winners

Nine graduating seniors of the Pittsburg High School Class of 2025 received scholarships from the Pittsburg Rotary Club, amounting to a total of 9,000 dollars. The winners were Curtis Adams, Jareely Espinoza, J’Alyssa Johnson, Audrina Landin, Carter Lankford, Audrey Lowe, Samantha Medina, Saniya Monroe, and Cadence Parker. Landin and Johnson are notably this year’s valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.
