On July 19, Trent Ford played offensive center at a One-World Bowl Games football event in San Antonio. Ford will be a junior at Pittsburg High School this upcoming school year. Ford played for Team America in the America versus Europe game.
Every summer, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, affectionately known as “the Bible of Texas Football,” releases a preview magazine, previewing the seasons for the high school, college and professional football teams in Texas. While the college and pro teams are highlighted, the main focus is the over 1,500 high school teams in the state.
Alpha Mu Chi, NTCC’s five-star, award- winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, participated in the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 11-13 on the campus of Texas Lutheran University (TLU) in Seguin, Texas. During the conference, attendees stayed in dorms on the TLU campus, ate in the campus dining hall, and participated in activities in classrooms and outdoor activity areas.
