Commemorative benches offered as part of downtown beautification

The Pittsburg Texas Main Street Advisory Board is launching the 2021 Downtown Beautification Project as part of the City of Pittsburg Downtown Revitalization efforts.

The Beautification Project includes twelve new benches in the Downtown area to enhance our guests’ comfort.

The Main Street Advisory Board, in partnership with the Pittsburg Economic Development Corporation and the City of Pittsburg, Texas - Government, is providing the benches.

Commemorative sponsorships for each bench will be available for participation.

Each bench will have a 5” x 7” commemorative plaque with up to 45 spaces to dedicate the bench. Plaques may include family names, dedications in memory of loved ones, favorite quotes, etc. Plaque manufacturing and installation are expected to take six to eight weeks. Locations of benches in the downtown area may vary over time.

Sponsorship availability began June 1 and goes on until all 12 six-foot benches have been sponsored. Sponsorship per bench is $1200.
