In downtown Pittsburg, at Pilgrim Plaza, photos of the Pittsburg ISD 2020 seniors in their caps and gowns are displayed as a tribute to the graduating class. Each senior is featured along the sidewalks, with a photo of Troy Segura having its own place in the flower beds. Pilgrim Bank sponsored this homage to the graduates.
Governor Abbott has appointed Camp County Constable Shawn Kennington to the Texas Crime Victim’s Institute Advisory Council (TCVIAC), alongside seven law enforcement professionals across the state of Texas. TCVIAC was established in 1995, with a mission to learn more about the effects of crime on its victims, to advocate for crime victims, and to improve services offered to crime victims.
On May 18, Connie Bradshaw joined The Pittsburg Gazette team as the new Advertising Manager, replacing Madlen Krause, who parted ways with the company last week to pursue other interests. Bradshaw has been a member of the community of Pittsburg for 25 years and has a background in sales and advertising.
