Maurice S. Simmons, Jr. passed away November 20, 2020 at UT Health East Texas in Tyler, Texas at the age of 61. His memorial service will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
Robert Eugene Murphree, 85, of Pittsburg was born July 14, 1935 in Pittsburg to BH Murphree and Ottie Gertrude Kizer. He passed away November 24, 2020 at his home in Pittsburg.
Billy Junior Jones passed away November 16, 2020 in Pittsburg, Texas at the age of 42. A memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
William A. Moss, 91, of Winnsboro, Texas passed away on November 19, 2020 at his home. Mr. Moss was born on November 4, 1929 in Pittsburg to the late John Allen Moss and Myrtle Cheshire Moss. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ruby Moss in 2018, step-father John Allen, son William A. Moss, Jr., brothers T.J. Moss, Charles Moss, sisters Jean Wilson and Margie Burcalow. Mr. Moss is survived by sons John Moss, Billy Moss (Melissa), Richard Moss (Eveleen), Rickey Moss (Crystal); daughters Delilah Brown (Mark), Peggy Lilley (Tony) and Deana Leverton; 36 grandchildren, 91 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Moss was a self employed carpenter and home builder. William built many homes around Camp, Franklin,Titus and Wood counties in his life. He was dependable in his trade and worked very very hard.
