Graveside service for Melvin E. Brown, 60, of Pittsburg will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County with Johnny Blankenship officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg. Mr. Brown passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at his residence.
Michael Edward Russell, age 73 of Spring Branch, TX, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021. Michael, son of Edward and Dorothy Russell, was born near and grew up in Pittsburg, TX. Growing up in the farm life of East Texas, Michael ran a milk route deliver ing milk for the family dairy business. Upon graduating Pittsburg High School, Michael ventured to Austin, TX, where he met the two loves of his life—his wife, June Sharon Russell, and the University of Texas Longhorns. Michael proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas followed by a Master’s in Business Administration from St. Edward’s University.
Virginia Sue Pynes Presley, 84, went to her eternal home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2021, and was finally reunited with her husband.
Joe Junior Godsey, age 89, of Pittsburg, passed away on October 16, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday. October 18, 2021 in the Chapel at Erman Smith Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Scott Darby and Judge James “A.J.” Mason. Visitation will be held at Erman Smith Funeral Home between 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday prior to the service. Burial will be at New Mine Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Dr. Trimble passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, in a Pittsburg hospital.
