Mr. John Dee Hood age 71, of Leesburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Winnsboro. He was born October 20, 1950 to Willie Dee Hood and Elta Lorene Deverell Hood in Leesburg, Texas. He worked as a machinist at Andritz in Pittsburg, attended Calvary Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, and enjoyed coaching little league baseball, but spending time with his grandchildren was most special to him.
Mrs. Mattie Lucille Hess, age 92, of Pittsburg passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, in Richardson, Texas. Mattie Lucille Hess was born on Sept 6th, 1929 in Delaware, Arkansas to George Washington Bowman and Mattie Comfort Bowman. She was the last child born to the family which included sisters Bertha and Lee, and brothers Walter, James, Russell, and Doyle.

Mr. Matthews was born October 11, 1955 to Bobby Matthews and Faye Cox Matthews in Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Matthews was born March 5, 1959 to Vestal Franklin Roark, Sr. and Elsie Louise Roark in Gilmer, Texas.
