Jason David Walton, 37, passed away on Saturday May 15, 2021, in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born on March 13, 1984, in Pittsburg, Texas.

He is survived by his son Brayden Levi Walton, his mother Evelyn Dunlap, and three sisters, Tina Mathney Richie, Angela Zachgo and Kari Bearden, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Frances Mathney, his uncles Andrew Mathney and Jimmy Briscoe.

Jason was what you’d call a true country boy, and a roughneck. He loved to fish and work outdoors, and he could build anything from nothing. He could fix just about anything. He was known to his family and friends as hardworking, loyal, giving, funny, and had a mouth that would make just about anyone blush. He was loved beyond words and will be missed every day. Till we see you on the other side Bubba.

A memorial service for Jason was held on May 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm, at The First United Methodist Church in Daingerfield, Texas.
